Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled BASE24 Specialist having HP Non-Stop knowledge with expertise in configuration and implementation including XPNET, TSS, HSM, and TACL Macro creation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation and delivery of environments to teams to perform testing. The role will provide consultation to the test teams to enable seamless testing and help to provide quality solutions that meet KPIs/SLAs for the area.
The E2 role is has several areas of focus that may be dialled up or down depending on the specific need within a team; the three areas are:
Testing support within the BASE24 teams.
- Environment delivery
- External testing with VISA and VOCA
Supporting to networking team for connectivity

For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites. What you’ll be doing
Environment provisioning: Creation of new environment through collaboration with stakeholders.
- Certificate management: Knowledge of the certificate creation and management, experience with modules in AWAS, ICE-XS, SAFETGATE
- External testing support with VOCA and VISA.
- Providing consultation to networks and other teams to support testing and whitelisting
- Provisioning and connection to integration environments.
- User access management of the test environment within Nationwide for BASE24.
- Testing support and line of defence for issues which are raised by testers for the environment or projects being run.
Supporting migration of classic to EPS
About you
Review technical artifacts like implementation plans, required for delivery. Identify any issues and implement.
Automation, plan review, testing support, ticket resolution, infrastructure and environment design to meet the team objectives.
Provide guidance and direction to a team of engineers to create “fit for purpose environments” based on requirements of the organisation and align with the technology strategy
- Contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of environments, engineering principles and standards to reflect best practice and effective use within the organisation
- To drive decisions and remove blockers to test drive forward implementation of technical artefacts.
- Responsible for capturing and sharing knowledge and ensuring proper documentation within the CTO.
- Responsible for providing support and maintenance or products / deliveries in your area and across platforms if applicable
Co-ordination within teams to fix service impacting issues across multiple technologies
