Job description
As a Change Analyst within the Finance function, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic reconciliation initiatives. We’re involved in critical change projects modernising and updating our systems, so you’ll be working on projects helping to deliver change. A flexible and adaptable approach is critical. You will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of controls and fulfilling audit requirements to ensure compliance with our statutory obligations. You will also be expected to identify key stakeholders and cultivate strong working relationships to facilitate the successful delivery of change initiatives.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon or London office. With the team predominantly located in Swindon, travel to this location will be essential on average twice monthly basis were you to be based in London.

What you’ll be doing
Your responsibilities will include gathering and documenting requirements for new reconciliations, migration activities, and enhancements to existing processes.
You will be responsible for designing the reconciliation build framework within the strategic reconciliation tool, providing clear, structured, and actionable instructions to the build team.
Additionally, you will develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), including the creation of test scripts and completion of associated governance activities.
Your role will also involve contributing to the design of future-state (‘To Be’) process documentation and procedural guidelines. You will deliver training to end users and support business readiness activities to ensure smooth adoption of changes.
Throughout implementation, you will provide hands-on support to reconciliation and build teams, including live proving and warranty phases.
About you
At a minimum you will own:
•Proven background in Finance or hands-on experience with reconciliation processes.
•Demonstrated expertise in change management, comfortable with change with a focus on driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage complex data sets effectively.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Visio, with the ability to create detailed documentation and visual process maps. Working with Pivot tables, Formulas and Vlookups will be a typical part of your workload.
•Academic qualifications in Mathematics at A-Level or equivalent or higher, supporting strong numerical and problem-solving capabilities.
•Confident and effective communicator, experienced in engaging with stakeholders across all levels within project workstreams.
